Patricia Grosskoph

Patricia Ann "Trish" Grosskopf, 61, formerly of Martinsville, died July 23, 2007.

She was born in Indiana, the daughter of Juanita Grosskopf and the late Gottfried H. "Guff" Grosskopf.

She worked for a number of years in Bloomington for the former Indiana Bell Co. and was later transferred to Evansville.  Her primary experience was in facilities assignment and she retired after 29 years of service from what was then Ameritech.  Upon retirement she started a second career in health insurance and worked with an agency in Evansville.

She was a graduate of Martinsville High School and attended Ball State University.

She was an accomplished musician, a talented artist and a story teller with a great sense of humor.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and Sudoku. She enjoyed animals and playing golf.

She was a member of the Hamilton Ladies 9-Hole League in Evansville, where she served as an officer and volunteered to organize events.

She is survived by her mother, Juanita Grosskopf, a sister, Barbara Adamson of San Francisco and a brother, Mike Grosskopf of Texas.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Hamilton Golf Club in Evansville and in Martinsville at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Foxcliff South Club House.
