Ginger A. Shields. 52, Columbus, died at 9:08 a.m. March 5, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Born April 20, 1946, in Martinsville, she was the daughter of the late Harold "Bud" and Virginia Kinnett Hamilton. She graduated from Martinsville High School in 1964 and married Robert A. Shields on March 26, 1966. He survives.
Other survivors include daughter Lori Law, son Tom Shiels and granddaughter Erica Law all Columbus and sister Juetta Hacker, Indianapolis. She was preceded by one sister.
The service will be Monday, March 8, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Funeral Service, Reed & Jewel Chapel on 25th Street in Columbus, IN. The Revs. Jim Stanfield and Archie Kent will officiate. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery.
Visitation hours are 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
