60th Class Reunion

REUNION UPDATES

Help! Some postcards were returned to us by the USPS as undeliverable. If you have contact information for any of the following classmates, please email it to mhs1964@att.net. The names are Judy Lambert (Lusk), Diana Fisher (Allman), Rick Prather, James Turpin, Rita Hicks (Ones), Patricia Zelahy (Maxwell) and Jim Brummett.

With our 60th Class Reunion coming up next year, the Reunion Committee is requesting classmate input. Please email the Reunion Committee at mhs1964@att.net with your thoughts and suggestions regarding our upcoming reunion. All emails will be posted below for class members to review.

Comment from Elden Carmichael: Now that I am mostly retired and the kids are all on their own, I am going to try to make the 60th. My compliments to y'all for doing such a great job of keeping the web site and organizing the reunions.

Comment from Mary Ann Fulford (Wooster): My vote is a meal and no band. Eliminating the space for a dance floor would give more room to space out the tables and enable guests to maneuver around with wheelchairs, canes, etc. Background music would be a nice addition. My thanks goes out to all the people on the planning committee and the hard work that goes into planning a reunion. Looking forward to seeing everyone and reminiscing about days gone by!

Comment from Mary Beth Champlin (Fetherolf): Looking forward to the 60th class reunion. It will be nice to visit with the members of the class of 64! Music played such an important part of our lives in high school, that I would love to have some music playing in the background to bring back memories (whether good, bad, or ugly)! Hope all works out so that we can make this reunion happen. Best wishes!

Comment from Jacquie Alexander (Worley): I was unable to attend the 50th and 55th reunions, so I hope to make this one.  I just want to second everything that Karl Dorff said.  Especially, I would like to thank you, the committee, for the wonderful work you have done over the years in managing the website, keeping us connected and in planning the reunions.

Comment from Karl Dorff: Before I offer any opinions regarding our upcoming 60th anniversary reunion, I would like to thank each member of the reunion committee for all the work you put into making our gatherings so successful and enjoyable. Kudos to you for your positive efforts over the years.

In response to your specific questions, I definitely would prefer having a meal during which we classmates are able to visit with one another.

I, personally, would prefer to not have a band. I'm not a dancer and my lovely wife is not a "live and loud" music person, so...I would prefer to see a time after the meal in which classmates have the opportunity to share, with the entire group, memories of our MHS years together.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to attend next year's reunion if I am still physically and mentally able to take part in the festivities on September 21st, 2024.

Thanks again for all you do!
