MARTINSVILLE — Thomas A. Dunn, 70, Martinsville, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at his home.

He was born April 29, 1946, to the late Paul O. and Frances M. (Boyden) Dunn in Indianapolis.

Tom was a 1964 graduate of Martinsville High School. He retired from Eli Lilly & Co. in 1996, having worked as a chemist. Tom was an avid golfer and fisherman and was a member of the VFW Post #1257, the American Legion Post #230 and Elks Lodge #1349.

Tom is survived by his wife, Karla J. (Burleigh) Dunn, who he married on January 14, 2012; daughters, Tami Dittemore, Carmen Dunn-Smith, Barbie Williams; brothers, David Dunn, Leslie Dunn, Robert Dunn, George Dunn; sisters, Margaret Fuhs, Mary Mercer, Lorraine Richardson, Paula Dillender, Dianna Moss, Pam Brummett, Denise Bass, Judy Dunn; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Edmund Dunn, Wayne Dunn, Donald Dunn; sisters, Patricia Welch and Ruth Adams.

Services are 4 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016, at River Valley Christian Church with Rev. Kevin Able officiating. Visitation is prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016, at River Valley Christian Church.

Burial will be at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery.
